Pinchas Gutter was a child living in Lodz, Poland, when the Nazis invaded in September 1939. The next six years of his life were spent in the Warsaw Ghetto, Majdanek, Skarzysko- Kamienna, Buchenwald and Theresienstadt.
At 13, Pinchas was orphaned and alone.
Almost 60 years later, Pinchus returns to the void that was his childhood to re-discover the places that he had inhabited during the Holocaust. He travels his first journey, it is one of re-discovery and emotion, as he travels with his wife and three children to discover once more the void of memory.
A facilitated discussion about the value of the physical return to the void of memory, will follow the screening.
